The Strictly Come Dancing contestant was floored by a question about the demolition of a prison in 1987 where Rudolf Hess had been the sole inmate.
Host Jeremy was impressed by her friend choice, exclaiming: “From The Chase? Let me get this straight, you’re actually contemplating, shall I ask the audience or should I ask someone from The Chase?”
Paul correctly guessed option B, Spandau, which caused social media to erupt with reactions.
One fan said: “Who Wants to Be A Millionaire that shouldn’t be allowed.”
Another said: “No wonder she’s laughing with a phone a friend called Paul Sinha.”
Nina took home £20,000 for her chosen charity JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
She appeared on Goodness Gracious Me and EastEnders and opted to Ask The Audience for a question about Shakespeare, which was wrong.
The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Celebrity edition saw a host of household names all competing for the chance to win £1 million for their chosen charities.
In the same episode, Jools Holland played for the Prince‘s Trust and Caring Hands and he struggled with the first few questions, exhausting two lifelines in the first five minutes.
The music guru struggled to reach the £1,000 mark by himself, phoning a friend for a question about “Who hosted online fitness workouts for children under the title P.E with Joe.”‘
But Jools had to ask the audience to find the answer, which was of course Joe Wicks.
The next question was “Which of these is the tagline for the Hitchcock film Psycho?”
Phoning a friend he arrived at the right answer “Check in, Unpack, Relax, Take a Shower.
But viewers were incredulous that he wasn’t familiar with the famous shower scene when they tuned in last night.
