“75% off Hush Puppies and Kickers….”
Not only this, but Ellie also added: “50% off loads of other brands too AND 3 for 2 on all sale items!
“Got all these school shoes to last us the year for just over £46.”
Alongside her post, Ellie shared pictures of her two receipts, confirming that she nabbed the haul of shoes from her local store in Derby.
Whilst the Kickers were slashed to just £12.49 a pair, she also found other shoes for as little as £9.99.
In total, Ellie nabbed six pairs of shoes, but paid just £46.41, which included a 20p plastic carrier bag, making each pair of shoes work out at just £7.74.
IF you are struggling to afford the cost of school uniform or PE kit, you may be able to apply for a grant from your local council - but the criteria vary from council to council.
This is usually in the form of a one-off payment paid directly into your bank account. Some councils will reimburse payments made to approved retailers.
You can ask your local council what help is available and when you need to apply.
If you can’t get targeted help from your council, there are other options to get cheap uniform.
Speak to your school to see if they can offer you some clothing.
Some charities offer help to families in need too. Charity Turn2Us has a free grants search tool on its website which you can use to find out what help is available to you.
Charity shops can also be a good place to find cheap school uniform.
But if you need to get your hands on some new school shoes for your little one, you’ll need to head down to your local Deichmann as fast as you can – as the main sale event, which offers 3 for 2 on all sale items, ends this Sunday, January 5.
The offer is available at various locations around the UK, and is available on men’s, women’s and children’s styles.
