Kathy Sutherland was sworn in on Dec. 12 as the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority’s District 4 representative. District 4 includes Campbell and a portion of Cupertino. Sutherland has been a member of the authority’s Citizens’ Advisory Committee for the past 11 years.

The Peninsula Symphony is presenting a John Williams Celebration Saturday, Jan. 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Campbell’s Heritage Theatre. The program features Williams’ iconic scores from films like “Jaws,” “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” “E.T.” and “Superman.”

Ronstadt Revival featuring Shannon Rae is bringing its tribute to Linda Ronstadt to Campbell’s Heritage Theatre on Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
The seven-piece band, including fiddle and pedal steel, covers songs from Ronstadt’s 1967 beginnings with the Stone Poneys, as well as her renditions in the ’70s of songs by songwriters like Smokey Robinson, Warren Zevon, Lowell George, Eagles and the Rolling Stones and her ’80s album “Mad Love” with its New Wave vibe.
