Jennifer Lopez is hoping everyone “gets the shiny new pair of Louboutins or whatever it is your heart desires” this holiday season.
The multi-hyphenate star took to Instagram to share a throwback video from her 2009 “So You Think You Can Dance” performance. She collaborated with the show’s choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo, also known as Nappytabs, to create a special holiday-themed performance for the show’s season finale.
Channeling old Hollywood glamour with wavy hair reminiscent of a pin-up, Lopez appeared on stage lying seductively on a bed atop a giant high heel in the same silhouette she wore on her feet. In a playful nod to the holiday season, she called Santa to request a pair of shiny Louboutin shoes.
The “All I Have” singer exuded glamour as she performed in Christian Louboutin Lady Claude Strass Pumps. These showstopping heels, with their daring peep-toe design and impeccable craftsmanship, are a perfect choice for making a statement at special events. The pumps are adorned with shimmering Swarovski crystals that catch the light from every angle, creating a dazzling, multi-colored effect. The crystals are set on a sharp, five-inch heel that adds to the overall dramatic silhouette of the shoe. The combination of the bold design, luxurious materials, and towering heel make these Louboutin pumps a true fashion statement, reflecting Jennifer Lopez’s confident and glamorous style.
The French fashion brand is known for its stiletto footwear which incorporates the infamous shiny, red-lacquered soles. The designer established his shoe salon in Paris, where his shoes found favor with celebrity clientele. J. Lo has shown her appreciation for the Louboutin brand throughout the years by carrying the designer’s Paloma studded leather tote bag in both black and nude. Louboutin returned the favor by designing shoes for Lopez’s “Louboutins” music video.
In the early 2000s, Lopez was often seen in platform heels and chunky sandals. She also favored strappy sandals and gladiator sandals. In the mid-2000s, Lopez’s style became more sophisticated. She began to wear more tailored clothing and elegant evening gowns. Her footwear choices also became more refined. She often wore pumps, stilettos, and ankle boots.
