TWIXMAS, the days between Christmas and New Year, is a divisive time.
Some of us have to work, some relish in the chaos of high-street sales and others like to lounge around in pyjamas all day while indulging on festive leftovers.

A whopping one in four won’t shower for three or more days, particularly if they have no plans or are working from home, new research from Sky has found.
And a gross 50% of us will wear the same pants for more than 48 hours.
You can also forget socialising in this period.
A sneaky 22% of Brits will straight-up lie to loved ones to stay home and binge-watch TV for a whopping 30 hours over six days.
That works out at an eye-watering 1.8 billion hours of TV time as a nation.
In fact, 52% will start and finish a new series within a few days and 41% will binge-watch TV all day without moving.
And 51% of us will re-watch our favourite series even though we’ve seen it more than once before.
The Harry Potter movie franchise, Game of Thrones and Gangs of London were all pinpointed as go-to choices in Sky’s research.
The survey confirmed that we are all about living a slow paced life during the lull between December 26 and December 31.
Brits will shamelessly avoid getting dressed, opting to stay in their pyjamas for a whole day.
And more than half of us will spend multiple days in our jimjams.
We will also surrender cooking and feast on Christmas leftovers, with the average person surviving on them for breakfast, lunch and dinner for two days before eating anything else.
A massive 44% of people even eat their leftovers straight from the fridge rather than plating them up.
“After a long year it’s clear to see that Brits are fully-embracing the no-man’s land that is Twixmas,” says Jamie Morris, Executive Director Content Strategy & Performance at Sky.
“And thankfully there’s some great telly to keep them company if they don’t fancy leaving the house, or even the sofa.”
THE Christmas Day ratings battle was won by Gavin and Stacey: The Finale – with 12.5million viewers and climbing.
Part two of the 2019 BBC special was must-watch telly on Christmas Day.
It spelled the end of Ruth Jones and James Corden‘s series for ever – 17 years after it was first created.
It was a big day for the BBC, with the return of Wallace & Gromit after 14 years bringing in 10m for Vengeance Most Fowl.
And it was a huge Christmas for EastEnders – with an astonishing 8.7m watching Cindy Beale clobbered with a shovel and left for dead.
EastEnders’ huge bounce comes as a result of being aired after Gavin and Stacey.
Just 2.8m tuned in to watch Gail Platt’s goodbye on Coronation Street.
Meanwhile some 5.1m watched The King’s Speech, and 6.9m sat down for the Call The Midwife Christmas Special.
