Your kids are never too young to learn about compassion and emotional intelligence. Case in point: Pink’s 8-year-old son Jameson. The rockstar just shared the “empathetic” way her little boy checks in on her every morning, and our hearts can’t handle the cuteness.
The “Trustfall” singer shared a sweet tribute to her son for his 8th birthday on Dec. 16, where she revealed details about his personality and heartwarming traits. “My baby boy is 8,” Pink began her caption. “He is funny, kind, goofy, curious, empathetic, loyal and loving, insecure, athletic, gentle, loves hip hop and metal and punk rock and ‘mamas music’, Fortnite and dancing, trampolines and prat falls, cart racing, skateboarding, skiing, baseball, drawing and making faces.”
Amazing! He sounds like your typical 8-year-old boy, interested in all things sports, video games, music, and more. (BTW, Mama’s music?! I’m crying, that’s so cute.)
In her post, Pink also shared how kind and thoughtful her son is. “Loves being read to, tells me he loves me randomly throughout the day for no reason, always says thank you and I’m sorry,” she continued. “Loves to help in the kitchen, asks me if I slept well. My heart just explodes when I look at him.”
Oh my goodness, are you kidding? Helps out, is polite, asks her if she slept well? This kid is so incredibly considerate for just 8 years old that it melts our hearts.
“I can’t wait to see where 8 takes you. It is my pleasure and absolute honor to be your Mama in this life. Happy Birthday baby boy,” she concluded. She also shared a picture of Jameson smiling at what looks like his birthday dinner, showing off his missing-tooth smile and his long blonde hair. He seems like the happiest kid ever, and you can tell how much he is loved.
The comment section was full of love. “You’re raising a good, decent, caring human being ❣️❣️❣️,” one person wrote. Comedian Chelsea Handler pointed out, “Asking your mother if she slept well is pretty solid.”
“Well that is the sweetest, kindest, most honest tribute I’ve ever read to a child,” someone else wrote. “He will look back on that and be proud that his mom knew him so well.”
Pink shares Jameson and daughter Willow, 13, with husband Carey Hart. The family is getting into the holiday spirit this year, as Cart recently told PEOPLE. “I’m a total Grinch,” the motorcross competitor told the outlet with a laugh, adding, “My kids have brought me around, and as my wife likes to say, she’s the most Christmas happy Jew you’ll ever meet. Kids have changed my temperature, so I just enjoy hanging with my family.”
“I’ve come around to the Christmas traditions and I’m looking forward to it this year,” he added.
It just goes to show kids can always teach us things!
