Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt have announced they share more than just an employer: The two Fox News hosts are now engaged.
The cable news couple had been in a long-distance relationship; Earhardt resides in New York City, while Hannity, who has been with the network since it launched in 1996, lives in Florida.
"We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives," the couple said in a statement to Fox News.
Hannity, who also hosts a radio show, proposed to Earhardt, a "Fox & Friends" co-host, at their church, saying it was a "perfect place" because the two have bonded over their faith, according to Fox. Following their engagement, the couple met with their minister.
The two notified their ex-spouses, with whom they "still get along well,” beforehand, they said.
Fellow broadcaster Piers Morgan was among those who congratulated the pair, calling them “two of the most generous-spirited people I’ve met in the media. Wishing you every happiness together.”
