There is only one Taylor Swift, and yet, we all probably know at least one person who kind of looks like Taylor Swift. Recently, this Swift doppelgänger phenomenon occurred at the Chiefs-Steelers game in Pittsburg on Christmas Day. Folks on Instagram believed they'd spotted Taylor Swift in the stands, presumably there to support her paramour, Travis Kelce.
But, despite the fact that the Chiefs did win, and Kelce had his 77th touchdown catch, Swift was not physically present at Acrisure Stadium. So, how come there were Instagram posts showing her sitting in a suite in the stadium during the game? Turns out, it wasn't Taylor Swift, but a woman who looks a bit like her, from a distance.
Taylor Swift couldn't make this particular game, because she's made a policy of avoiding Chiefs' away games for security reasons. And so, the mystery woman who the internet, briefly, thought was Taylor Swift, was in fact, someone else.

In this case, the Taylor body-double was a woman named Olivia, who posted to TikTok for the first time to clarify that she was not Taylor Swift. She was simply attending the game, in a box seat, with her best friend. She said that throughout the game people took pictures of her and waved and that she "waved back" because she "didn't want to be mean or rude."
She also admits that she understands why people at the game were confused. "I can see it, like from far away, maybe because of my hair or the way my makeup was done..."
But, Olivia is not Taylor. Swift was 100 percent not in Pittsburg for the Christmas Day game, Olivia says she's "very sorry" if fans were confused, but that she "hopes everyone had a nice time at the game." Maybe somebody can get Olivia a movie deal in the meantime.
