Jamie Donley has sent a funny response to his Spurs Under-21s and Leyton Orient teammate Josh Keeley after netting his first goal of the season.
Donley has not had the easiest of times since joining Leyton Orient on loan in the summer, having been in and out of the side this season.
However, the attacking midfielder has been getting consistent minutes of late, and he showed his quality on Sunday, netting the opener for the O’s in their 4-0 win away at Barnsley.
The 19-year-old peeled off at the back post to meet a corner with a free header which snuck its way into the back of the net at the near post.
His Spurs teammate, Josh Keeley, who is also with him on loan at Brisbane Road this season, poked fun at the midfielder, suggesting that he has learned a thing or two from him.
Quite unbelievable, Keeley has a goal and an assist to his name this season, having netted a late equaliser for his side in their FA Cup clash against Oldham Athletic last month.
Donley would certainly not have expected the goalkeeper to score before he did for the O’s and here is how the teenager responded to his teammate’s taunts.
The Spurs academy midfielder would be the first one to admit that he has not done justice to his ability this season.
There is no doubt that the teenager has the ability to dominate League One and he would be hoping that his strike on Sunday is the start of his turnaround.
