New Delhi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially revealed the schedule for the eagerly awaited Champions Trophy 2025. This announcement comes after extensive discussions among cricket boards, particularly due to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)’s decision against sending Team India to Pakistan. Additionally, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) dismissed a hybrid hosting model for the tournament. Thankfully, an agreement has been made, permitting all India vs. Pakistan matches in ICC events to occur at neutral venues until 2027.
With the consensus reached, Dubai has been chosen as the venue for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament will kick off on February 19, featuring Pakistan taking on New Zealand in Karachi. One of the most awaited matches, India versus Pakistan, is set for February 23 at the Dubai International Stadium. The semifinals will take place on March 4 and 5, leading up to the final on March 9.
Although ticket sales have yet to start, the ICC is now taking registrations from fans who want to stay updated on ticket availability. Fans interested in attending can register by sharing their name, email address, contact number, date of birth, country of residence, and favorite team. After agreeing to the terms and conditions, fans will be informed when ticket sales officially begin.
With the tournament fast approaching, fans can anticipate the release of ticket information soon. At first, tickets will be available for the league matches, while ticketing for the final will hinge on India’s performance in the tournament. If India makes it through, the final will be held in Dubai; if not, it will take place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
