OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Our Blood Institute (OBI) kicking off its annual holiday blood drive giving donors an opportunity to get this year's limited-edition OKC Thunder shirt and one voucher for a free ticket to an upcoming Thunder game.

Thunder fans can give the priceless gift of blood rolling up their sleeves at two locations with Our Blood Institute and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the OKC Fairgrounds or Riverwind Casino.

OBI says, donations are critical during the holidays and the need for blood remains constant for patients statewide.
If you are unable to attend a Thunder Blood Drive on December 27, visit obi.org/events/thunder-blood-drives/ for additional dates and locations to score free tickets to a Thunder game.
Anyone who is healthy and 16 years old* or older can give blood.
Appointments to donate can be made online at obi.org or by calling 877-340-8777.
Walk-ins are also welcome.
*16-year-olds must weigh at least 125 pounds and provide signed parental permission; 17-year-olds must weigh at least 125 pounds; 18+ year olds must weigh at least 110 pounds. Photo ID required.
