FISHKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Dutchess County man was arrested after an ongoing investigation into drug sales throughout Dutchess County. Rahmel Garraway, 31, faces multiple felony charges.
According to the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force, Garraway was allegedly selling narcotics out of multiple locations in East Fishkill. On Dec. 20, task force agents and the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a residence off Robinson Lane.
Agents allegedly found a loaded gun, two kilograms of suspected cocaine in the house. Garraway was arrested, without incident and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a loaded firearm, in the second degree, a class C violent felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, with the intent to sell, a class B felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.
Garraway has additional pending charges relating to this case, the task force said. He was later arraigned in the East Fishkill Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail, where he is being held without bail.
