Its been a really tough time recently with my Dad receiving a diagnosis of rapid onset Motor Neuron Disease. As i'm sure you can imagine this has been very difficult news and has been devastating to the family.
My Dad has been following the Blues since the 1950s and despite his condition continues to follow the team as closely as he can. With this in mind I emailed the club asking if would it be possible to arrange any kind of message for him this Christmas.
My expectations were low as I suspect many similar requests are made at this time of year. Much to my surprise I did receive a reply to my email, including a video attachment - a beautiful message directly to my Dad from the Juke. I was able to show the old man and it's an understatement to say a few tears were shed.
I've had many issues with BCFC over the years but I will never forget this act of kindness, I want to publicly thank the club, in particular Dale Moon in the media team and of course big Jukey - it means the world.
