DAVID Corenswet is quickly launching into the A-list with his upcoming role in the new Superman movie next year.
But not much is available about his private life, particularly who the hero flies home to after a long day saving the world – here’s what we know.
David has been making a name for himself in Hollywood for the past few years, having starred in several notable roles.
Earlier this year he starred in Twisters opposite Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones.
The movie was a remake of the movie from the 90s, Twister.
David plays the antagonistic role of Scott, a business partner of Javi (Anthony Ramos).
Scott, Kate, and Javi join up in Oklahoma, hoping to take advantage of a predicted tornado outbreak.
While shooting Twisters, hw found out he’d been cast as the new Superman, and his cast could hardly contain their excitement.
He has also had roles in Pearl and Ryan Murphy’s Hollywood series for Netflix.
Pearl, a horror film set in 1918, finds David as an unnamed projectionist who begins a relationship with an aspiring young actress named Pearl (Mia Goth).
David plays a World War II veteran who moves to Hollywood to become an actor in Ryan Murphy‘s period limited series.
The actor also received major Emmy buzz for his work.
Whilst plenty is known about this rising star, not as much is known about who he is married to.
The rumors are that the Superman star is married to actress and producer Julia Best Warner.
Julia’s IMDB lists her as being hitched to the actor since March 2023.
It is believed the pair got married in an interfaith ceremony in New Orleans.
Julia is best known for projects such as Ratched, Back for Good, and Dot.
Ratched is a Netflix series starring Sarah Paulson, created by Ryan Murphy.
Sarah plays Nurse Ratched in this story, which follows her younger life before she becomes the antagonist in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
Dot is a short film from 2014 following a withdrawn teenage girl who struggles with her OCD-driven murderous tendencies.
Back for Good is a 2017 movie about a struggling actress in the throes of a quarter-life crisis.
Little has been seen of David in the upcoming superhero movie except for a teaser trailer showing him in the iconic cape.
Superman is thought to be a full retelling of the hero’s origin story and will feature Nicholas Hoult as his nemesis Lex Luthor.
The movie also stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Mily Alcock as Supergirl.
Superman is directed by James Gunn, who is most known for his work with Marvel in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
The film is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2025.
