New Delhi: Ex-Indian cricket star, Vinod Kambli, has recently found himself in a hospital situated in Thane district. On Monday, his attending doctors discovered brain clots through medical screenings. Dr. Vivek Trivedi, responsible for Kambli’s medical care, revealed that the Mumbai-born ex-batsman, now 52, was first brought in with suspected urinary infection signs and muscle spasms. This led to his immediate admission over the weekend to a hospital in the Kalher area of Bhiwandi town.
After conducting numerous assessments, the healthcare professionals at Akruti Hospital found blood clots in Kambli’s brain, according to Trivedi’s report. His health status is now under persistent watch, with plans for more detailed medical evaluations set for Tuesday, as per the physician’s directives.
Trivedi pointed out that S Singh, who runs the hospital, has kindly decided to provide Kambli with free medical care for life at his establishment.

I was suffering from a urine problem. It was just flowing. My son, Jesus Cristiano, picked me up and brought me back to my feet. My daughter, who is 10 years old, and my wife came to help me. This happened one month ago. My head started spinning; I collapsed and fell down. The doctor told me to get admitted,” Kambli told Vickey Lalwani on his YouTube channel.
