THIS Morning was thrown into chaos as the hosts fell about laughing over Kate Lawler’s naughty dog misbehaving live on air.
Craig Doyle and Sian Welby were in hysterics when the Big Brother star’s rescue dog Shirley started “humping” her arm.
Kate was presenting the ITV show’s Jingle Jackpot from Southbourne where it’s tradition for thousands of people go swimming in the sea on Christmas Day.
Appearing to foreshadow the events to come, Kate introduced her pup by saying: “Hopefully she’ll behave, she does like to hump sometimes.”
As she introduced the competition, Kate was forced to apologise as her dog began thrusting in her arms.
Kate yelled: “Shirley, I said no humping on telly. Oh my goodness me, I’m so sorry she gets really excited.
“Shirley, stop it.”
As she rounded off the segment by giving out the competition details, Kate joked: “You can be as excited as Shirley by winning £200,000.”
Heading back to the studio, Craig was seen bent over as he cried with laughter.
Craig said: “Father Christmas needs to know he’s been a very, very bad boy.”
Shirley then began to act up again, with Kate shouting: “Not again, not again. Why is she like this?”
Sian laughed: “That’s totally done Craig in. He’s gone.”
One viewer said: “Omg!!! Shirley the dog. I’ve literally just cried laughing.”
Another added: “I think Kate should have a word with the vet.”
Someone else predicted: “Kate Lawler and her dog about to be a meme lol.”
