The head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has stated that all wartime laws in Gaza have been subjected to ongoing genocide for the past 14 months, with these laws being flagrantly violated.
Philippe Lazzarini, the head of UNRWA, expressed this on his X (formerly Twitter) account, stating that attacks on schools and hospitals in Gaza have become a routine occurrence.
He emphasized that the international community should not grow accustomed to these violations and stressed that the cessation of the conflict in Gaza has been significantly delayed.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Civil Defense reported on Sunday, December 22, that Israeli airstrikes across Gaza have resulted in at least 35 Palestinian deaths, including children.
The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the death toll in Gaza has reached 45,227 since October 7, with 107,573 others wounded.
International services also reported that within the past 24 hours, the Israeli regime committed three massacres in Gaza, killing 21 people and injuring 61 others.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza further stated that thousands of people remain missing and are buried under the rubble in various parts of Gaza.
These continued attacks have resulted in a severe humanitarian crisis, with international calls for a ceasefire and increased assistance for those affected. The violations of international law are intensifying the dire situation, and the global community must push for immediate action to prevent further loss of life and suffering.
