Lea Michele attended the opening night of the new revival of the musical “Gypsy” on Broadway at The Majestic Theatre on Dec. 19 in New York. The Broadway alumni attended alongside her friend Jonathan Groff.
The “Glee” star went for elegance, sporting a pair of classic black pumps. Although they were hard to see beneath the lengthy hem of her dress, Michele went on to tag Gabriela Hearst in an Instagram carousel of her look for the night, leading us to believe the shoes likely hailed from the designer brand. The pick was seemingly made of a shiny fabric, either satin or suede, in black.
Additionally, the shoe included triangular-shaped toes and what looked like 2 to 3-inch block heels. The footwear choice is most comparable to Gabriela Hearst’s Edwina silhouette which currently retails for $1,250 or more depending on the fabric used. For those looking to channel Michele’s glitzy look, brands like Prada, Saint Laurent, The Row and Gianvito Rossi all feature similar styles to her own.
Partnered with her classic heels, the “Scream Queens” actress sported an Adam Lippes dress in the style Esme. The gown was floor-length and crafted of a romantic deep blue satin fabric. A strappy petal-shaped bodice gave way to a boxy skirt with pleating that offered definition. At the time of writing, the dress retails for $1,645.00.
Michele’s shoe style is often contemporary and versatile. During appearances and on the red carpet, the Teen Choice Award-winning actress often wears pointed-toe pumps and strappy sandals from top brands including Jimmy Choo, Aquazzura and Stuart Weitzman.
Off-duty, her footwear ranges from slip-on loafers to slides and sneakers, hailing from Veja, Ugg, Madewell and Anine Bing. The songstress has found major success on the Broadway stage for her lead role as Fanny Brice in the hit musical “Funny Girl.” Michele’s performance in the show received rave reviews.
