Tottenham Hotspur are involved in a three-horse race with Liverpool and Manchester City for one young La Liga attacker.
Tottenham are expected to reinforce their attack in January and it has emerged over recent days that one of the names on the club’s shortlist is Real Valladolid livewire Raul Moro.
While the 22-year-old’s numbers certainly do not leap out of the page, he has evolved into one of the most exciting wide players in La Liga, tormenting defences with his ability to run with the ball and take players on.
Some sources have even suggested that the North London club have sent scouts to Spain on several occasions to keep an eye on the Barcelona academy graduate.
Sport have now backed up Spurs‘ interest in Moro, but they say that the Lilywhites are not the only Premier League club after the player.
It is revealed that the youngster is also on the radars of both Manchester City and Liverpool. The outlet says that with the three Premier League clubs circling around the winger, Real Valladolid are ‘rubbing their hands’ in the anticipation of a sale.
It is alleged that the La Liga side will listen to offers starting from €10m (£8.2m) for the Spain Under-21 international, who has three goals and an assist to his name so far this season.
This is not the first time that Tottenham have taken on the Citizens and the Reds for an exciting young talent, with the North London club successfully doing so back in the summer.
According to reports, Spurs saw off competition from both sides to land Archie Gray from Leeds United in the previous transfer window.
Postecoglou‘s men reportedly did that by promising Gray that he would get regular first-team opportunities, and perhaps the club could use the same tactic to win the race for Moro.
