SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Schenectady County unveiled its new Veterans Photo Wall display on Friday at the Karen Johnson Library. The project aims to showcase local veterans during their time in service, honoring their dedication and sacrifice for the U.S.
Schenectady County Veterans Service Agency has asked the public for photos of their loved ones to submit for the display. Now, it includes more than 60 photos of local veterans.
"There's a story behind every photo that you see today. You can see their bravery and their dedication and their commitment to our country and the freedom that we now enjoy."
The photo wall will be on display in the library until the end of January.
