Outgoing centrist Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) and Joe Manchin (I-WV), both former Democrats, drew a lot of criticism from liberals and progressives after voting against confirming one of President Joe Biden's nominees for the National Labor Relations Board.
The critics included, among others, Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
But Semafor's Isaac Schorr notes that Sinema, regardless of her critics on the left, "seems at peace with her record."

In fact, Sinema said she doesn't "give a s---" about her critics on the left.
During an interview with Semafor, the Arizona senator said, "One person reached out to me after the election and apologized — and said I was right. One Democratic senator. I was surprised about that one. I was very surprised. And I appreciate it."
Sinema added, "I know some people think I'm, like, this enigma or whatever, but I don't think that’s true at all. I think, maybe, this is a place where sometimes, people say things that they don't mean. I am not one of those people.… I think I'm highly predictable."
Sinema decided against seeking reelection in the Arizona's 2024 U.S. Senate race, which found Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego defeating far-right MAGA Republican Kari Lake. Sinema declined to say who she voted for in the 2024 presidential race.
