COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A Cincinnati jazz and wine bar is readying to expand with a central Ohio location.
Nostalgia Wine & Jazz Lounge is planning to open new locations in Atlanta and Columbus, founder and owner Tammie Scott announced earlier this month. The lounge, which opened in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood in 2020, is aiming to launch the two new spots by fall of next year.
"Columbus and Atlanta are vibrant cities with rich cultural and music scenes and we believe our lounge will be a perfect addition to their nightlife," said Scott in a release. "Our goal is to create an inviting space where guests can unwind, enjoy exceptional wine, and immerse themselves in the soothing sounds of live music."
The Columbus lounge is set to open in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood, though an exact address has yet to be announced. The brand's Atlanta location will be placed downtown, near the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena.
Like the Cincinnati location, Columbus' lounge will be home to an extensive collection of red and white wines, along with rosés and champagne. The menu also features a few select beers by the can, a list of classic cocktails and a couple charcuterie boards.
Nostalgia's Cincinnati bar features live traditional and contemporary jazz and soul music sets three nights a week. Inspired by "gathering places of the past such as the West End's Cotton Club," the lounge offers wine tastings and private event space.
