There’s been some exciting updates about the Peaky Blinders movie that Netflix is producing!
The new movie sees four actors from the hit television show reprising their roles alongside two new faces, including Barry Keoghan.
Production began this fall, and it is already all wrapped up! Netflix confirmed that the movie was finished with filming on Thursday (December 19). In honor of the news, they shared the very first photo of Barry alongside franchise star Cillian Murphy!

“THAT’S A WRAP. The Peaky Blinders film has completed production,” the company wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
In the accompanying photo, Cillian and Barry are facing each other with smiles on their faces. They’re dressed in period costumes, including newsboy caps.
We don’t know much about the movie’s plot just yet. However, we will continue to update you as we do learn more.
Barry did open up about the movie in an interview and praised the script.
“I wouldn’t be attached to it if I didn’t [read the script],” he said. “But yeah, I read the script and loved it and have chatted to Cillian about it and it’s going to be epic.”
