Five fighters who competed Saturday at UFC on ESPN 63 in Tampa, Fla. have received indefinite medical suspensions as the results of of potential injuries.
Not among those five, however, were headliners Joaquin Buckley and Colby Covington. Despite Buckley (21-6 MMA, 11-4 UFC) being named the victor due to a doctor stoppage because of a laceration, Covington (17-5 MMA, 12-5 UFC) only received a 45-day suspension by the Florida Athletic Commission (FAC).
Thursday, MMA Junkie obtained a full list of suspensions from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, the umbrella under which the FAC falls. Per state statute, injury specifics were not disclosed.
Check out the full list below. Fighters may return sooner than the conclusion of their suspension if cleared by a doctor (unless noted otherwise).
