The Prince George Spruce Kings have signed defenseman Ludvig Basth (05) from Brynäs IF J20 for the remainder of the 2024-2025 BCHL Season.
Basth is a 6’1, 180 pound defenseman from Gävle, Sweden who has played the last five seasons in the Brynäs IF program for the J18 Region and Nationell teams, and most recently with the J20 Nationell team.
In 29 games this season, Basth has 2 goals and 9 assists for 11 points. He has played 88 games for the J20 Nationell program.
General Manager Mike Hawes: “Ludvig is a well-rounded player who defends well, likes the physical play but who can also join the rush and initiate offense. He is a great addition to our D core. You can never have enough depth at that position especially at this point in the season. We are thrilled to add Ludvig to our team.”
