The government has expanded the parliamentary committee reviewing the "one nation, one election" bills. Membership has increased from 31 to 39 MPs, including representatives from Shiv Sena (UBT), CPI(M), and LJP, along with additional BJP and SP members. The committee will examine the two bills, one of which proposes a constitutional amendment.
