A HOLLYWOOD heartthrob looks totally unrecognizable in a resurfaced snap from the noughties – but can you guess who it is?
Born in Santiago, Chile in 1975, this actor spent the first two decades of his career taking on small roles.
The minor roles that this hunky Hollywood star started taking in her on stage and on the television.
He then had his breakout role in the fourth season of HBO series Game of Thrones as Oberyn Martell.
He is 49 years of age, and his full name is José Pedro Balmaceda Pascal.

The resurfaced snaps were taken in 2005 when Pedro posed alongside Sarah Paulson at the opening of Absurd Person Singular.
The snaps of a baby-faced Pedro have now made their way onto Reddit, with fans of the actor quick to react.
In the photos, Pedro looks wildly different from how he does today, with a different hairstyle, no facial hair, and a baby-faced complexion.
“I don’t think I ever pictured what this man looked like younger wow,” said one person underneath the slew of snaps.
“This man has transitioned many looks in his lifetime,” added a second.
A third person then wrote: “Okay wow I did NOT recognize Pedro Pascal!!
“But it’s so wholesome to see pictures of them when they were younger, I love seeing long-lasting celebrity friendships!”
A fourth added: “Omg he looks so different and yet the same? And I’m still very attracted.”
“Am I the only one who didn’t realize he’s been in the industry for a while??” asked a fifth, adding: “I thought he kinda just popped up out of nowhere from Narcos.”
“Goddamn handsome af,” penned a sixth.
The Last of Us actor Pedro Pascal has appeared on Law and Order show more than once in the early days of his career.
Pedro played four different characters on Law & Order, SVU, and another spin-off series, Criminal Intent.
On Law & Order, he played Tito Cabassa in 2008 during Season 18 Episode 10.
During Criminal Intent in 2006, he appeared in Season 6 Episode 10 as Reggie Luckman, and in Season 8 Episode 8 as Kevin Green.
His final appearance was in SVU during Season 12 Episode 24 as Special Agent Greer in 2011.
“Find it weirdly comforting that even Pedro Pascal couldn’t escape the boys with straightened hair trend of the 00s,” joked a seventh.
