Finneas is opening up about going on tour solo and not with sister Billie Eilish.
The 27-year-old musician has gone on tour with his younger sister for nearly her whole career, but with his own solo career taking off, he opted out of joining her Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour.
Finneas has done some solo shows this year but is going on a full world tour of his own, starting in January 2025, and in a new interview, he opened up about what it’s been like not touring with Billie.

“It’s been very bittersweet. I only decided to do it because I knew that I couldn’t be in two places at once. I can’t do my own tours and her tour at the same time, and I don’t want to prevent her from touring as much as she wants to tour,” Finneas said on Jake Shane‘s Therapuss podcast. “And then the sweet part has just been I’ve seen the show a few times and it’s amazing. I think her show is incredible. It doesn’t suffer at all because I’m not there. She’s great, and I’ve come out and done a song or two, but I really think she’s doing the best show she’s ever done. So that’s lovely.”
“I call her constantly. You know, a lot of the time she’s just kind of being an athlete and resting and doing physical therapy and stuff like that,” he added. “I just make sure she’s doing okay. I’ve always said, leading up to it and since she left, ‘If you ever need some company, I’ll jump out and just come hang out with you, keep you company on the road.’”
Finneas will be kicking off his For Cryin’ Out Loud! The Tour in early January in Australia and New Zealand. Check out his full list of dates below!
He’ll also be opening for Billie THIS Saturday (December 21) in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum.
