With the arrival of San Diego FC, MLS now has 30 teams, which will alter the league schedule. Each team will still play 34 regular-season games (17 home, 17 away). Teams will play conference opponents twice (home and away) and each team will play six “different cross-conference” opponents.

After playing the last two July 4 matches at the Rose Bowl, the Galaxy will host Vancouver on the Fourth of July at Dignity Health Sports Park this season.
LAFC will face travel to face San Diego FC on March 29 and host the expansion club Aug. 31. LAFC will be making its first trips to CF Montreal (May 24) and New England (Aug. 16) since 2019.
The league will pause June 15-24 during the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be played across the United States. Also, the Leagues Cup tournament, between MLS and Liga MX clubs, will be played July 29-Aug. 31, but unlike the previous two seasons, the leagues will not stop their regular schedules.
The annual MLS All-Star Game will be played July 23 at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. An opponent will be announced at a later date.
The annual MLS SuperDraft is Friday. There are three rounds.
The Galaxy has two picks in the first round (Nos. 20 and 30) and the 30th and final picks in the second and third rounds.
As of Thursday, LAFC did not have any draft picks, having traded all three of them away.
