Kerry Washington was spotted arriving for a taping of “The View” yesterday in New York. The “Scandal” star sat down for an interview to discuss her new film “The Six Triple Eight.” TV personality Nikki Glaser was also on the same episode.
Washington made her talk show appearance in a pair of Santoni boots. Retailing for $1,700 via Saks Fifth Avenue, the knee-high silhouette features supple glossy leather uppers accompanied by almond-shaped toes and zip-up closures on the sides. Leather lining gave way to leather soles and 3.5-inch block heels that offered the thespian a substantial boost in height.
The shoe, much like many of Santoni’s designs, was made in Italy. Gianvito Rossi, Bottega Veneta, Tony Bianco, Aquazzura, Saint Laurent and Valentino all include silhouettes similar to Washington’s Santoni pick. Said silhouette can also be shopped via brands like Bloomingdale, Yoox and Neiman Marcus.
Paired with her Italian footwear, the “Django Unchained” actress donned a striped Missoni spring 2025 dress in shades of orange, red, white and black. A wool coat was layered overtop, keeping the actress nice and warm.
Washington’s style versatility has led to several memorable looks through the years since she took over Hollywood. Recently, the star has been sporting major footwear moments this year throughout her press tour for “The Six Triple Eight” and her Hulu show “UnPrisoned.” The star has been pulling from top shoe designers like Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, Burberry and Andrea Wazen.
“The Six Triple Eight” is an upcoming film produced by Tyler Perry. The project follows the women of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, World War 2’s only Women’s Army Corps unit of color, as they address a backlog in mail while facing discrimination and a war-torn environment. It is set to be released in select theaters before hitting Netflix on Dec. 20.
