Chicago’s O’Hare Airport was the scene of a bizarre holiday brawl last week, as several travelers and even an employee took to whacking each other over the head with “wet floor” placards in one of the American Airlines terminals.
The video shows two men dressed in black and another in a blue shirt, who apparently works for the airport, going after a fourth man in a white shirt who is swinging wildly at them with a large plastic sign. It seems the three men are trying to subdue the one in the white shirt, but he’s able to gain the upper hand on them. At one point, he knocks a man to the ground and proceeds to rip the hair from another’s head. The melée ends when the man in white grabs a metal stanchion from one of the check-in counters, encouraging the other brawlers to back off.
Chicago police reportedly responded to the incident and generated a report, but no arrests were made, a department spokesperson told The New York Post. The department did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Men’s Journal, nor did American Airlines or Chicago O’Hare Airport.
At this point, it's unclear what prompted the WWE-style confrontation or how it was ultimately resolved. Likewise, it's unknown whether the man in blue was an American Airlines employee or an airport vendor.
