COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Lia Toyota is donating $5,000 to Things of My Very Own Sponsor a Child in Crisis Program on Thursday. This program is a local initiative dedicated to giving holiday gifts and necessities to children in crisis.
The check presentation is on Thursday at noon at the Lia Toyota on Central Avenue in Colonie. The contribution will ensure that children receive a gift this holiday season.
Lia Toyota is also hosting Wish Tags at its dealership where donations are accepted until Friday. These Wish Tags represent a child's holiday wishes and needs that will be fulfilled through the program's efforts.
