GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police drone pilots and other agencies will be conducting drone training in Guilderland on Thursday. It will run from noon to 8 p.m.
The training is going to be at the State Police Firearms range near Grant Hill Road. The State Police advise that one of the topics is going to be night flying, so residents should expect to observe multiple drones with navigational lighting in the sky.
Troopers also ask residents not to fly personal drones in the area during the training. Anyone with questions about the training can contact Technical Sergeant Jack Keller at (518) 457-2180.
