BRITISH singer George Ezra has become a dad for the first time, The Sun can reveal.
The Shotgun singer, who is loved up with his new girlfriend, welcomed the tot earlier this month.
A friend told The Sun: “George is ecstatic about becoming a dad.
“It’s been such an exciting time for him and this Christmas is going to be very memorable for him.
“George is in a great place and is enjoying being a hands on dad.”
George, whose last album Gold Rush Kid became his third No1 record in June 2022, was seen for the first time with his newborn and his girlfriend during a day out in Hertford.
The Sun’s exclusive pictures show George carrying the tot before heading over to a local supermarket to pick up necessary supplies – namely nappies and a few tins of Brewdog lager.
Last year George had a tough time after being diagnosed with acute vertigo, which forced him to cancel live performances.
He had been on the road promoting Gold Rush Kid but told his fans he had to stop playing after feeling so unwell.
George went on to take a proper break to recover and broke his social media silence earlier this summer to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his debut album, Wanted On Voyage.
Since then, George has been spotted out and about by fans – including enjoying a few pints in Norfolk at the Brancaster Staithe Sea Shanty Festival back in September.
Those close to George said he was planning on extending his break into the New Year before getting back to music.
They said: “George took time out to focus on his health and now he’s become a dad, he wants to enjoy every moment of that experience.
“He is focusing on what is really important in his life and that is his partner and their baby.”
