Cleer Audio Appoints Hideaki Yamaguchi As CEO
Hideaki Yamaguchi (Yama) has been announced as the new CEO of Cleer Audio, effective immediately. Yama spent more than two decades with Sony Electronics and brings a wealth of experience and talent with an extensive background in CE, global management, growth strategy, sales/marketing, and operations to Cleer Audio.

Yamaguchi is known for his strategic thinking and meticulous operations as he navigates his teams and company to prevail in highly competitive landscapes. During his tenure at Sony, he was Senior Manager / Director of Product Marketing / Business Planning and Strategy, working in the US, Japan and Europe.
Most recently, Yamaguchi was Head of Global Operations at Swann Communications for 6 years. Before that, he was Head of Japan Sales and Marketing at Logitech, based in Japan. Yama holds a bachelor’s degree from Kyoto University.
Yamaguchi was recruited by Cleer Audio following the resignation and departure of Patrick Huang this summer. He is based in San Diego, CA. at Cleer’s U.S. headquarters.
Attendees at CES 2025 in Las Vegas can meet Yamaguchi and see the newly unveiled models and discover other new introductions planned for 2025 at the show.
