I’M A CELEBRITY star GK Barry has spilled jungle secrets the ITV viewers didn’t get to see.
And while the entire camp seemed at peace and harmony – bar a few blips – the YouTube personality has confessed this might not have been the case and bluntly stated: “It’s a miracle we didn’t beat each other up.”
I’m A Celeb star GK Barry has shared the jungle secret that viewers didn’t see[/caption]GK, real name Grace Keeling, 25, addressed the I’m A Celebrity contestants’ sleeping situation in the Aussie outback.
She told the latest episode of her Saving Grace podcast of the awful weather conditions in camp – dubbed the worst in the ITV show’s history – and said: “If it was thunder and lightening which, by the way, was the whole f**king time I was in there, it was deemed unsafe.
“So at some point we would all as a collective group get called into the Bush Telegraph and we would have to stay in there until the lightening and the storm had gone.
“Each night you were getting woken up one or two times to sit in the Bush Telegraph and then you’re up at 530am.
“So it’s a miracle we didn’t all beat each other up to be honest with you.
“Because the lack of sleep and then hunger is no joke.”
The Sun previously exclusively revealed how evacuation plans were drawn up for camp after the incessant deluge.
The weather brought chaos to the ITV show, with part of the set ripped up and flooded roads to the site.
It also caused a trial to be pushed back an hour.
The weather — believed to have been the wettest in the show’s 22-year history — eventually calmed enough for the celebs to stay in camp.
Bosses had been worried the storm could hit the satellite system and coverage.
A source at the time said: “All the campmates are fine, but producers monitored them on Saturday night as the storm worsened. The crew were struggling to make it on site.
“At one point there was genuine concern about how much they would be able to film.
“Fortunately, it calmed down a bit and all was OK.”

There was also an All Star series in South Africa in 2023, which was won by Myleene Klass.
On one weekend in camp, 114.5mm of rain fell in 24 hours.
During the series, hosts Ant and Dec shared a video of their journey into camp on Instagram, showing their car driving across a flooded road.
Ant said: “We all got texts this morning saying the rain is so bad you might not even make it in today.”
Yet they then confirmed the 2025 series would be going ahead – with a stark warning for potential celeb sign-ups.
