Colder and breezy weather is back in Acadiana this Thursday morning as temperatures have dropped into the lower 50s to 40s. Northerly winds are gusting over 20 mph at times too. Clouds will clear out through the morning hours leading to a sunny afternoon as highs only climb into the mid 60s. Clear and calmer conditions tonight will allow lows to reach the upper 30s to low 40s.
Even colder air is expected this weekend with freezing temperatures possible at night. Warmer and more humid weather returns next week along with isolated rain chances for the holidays.
