After a messy, high-profile divorce, it looks like Kevin Costner’s ex-wife Christine Baumgartner went looking for a man in finance. Per People, the 50-year-old got a second chance at love with financier Josh Connor, a friend and former neighbor of the estranged couple. “Christine and Josh’s relationship started as a friendship, so they have a really strong foundation,” a source told the outlet. “They share the same values, and she feels so happy and supported in this new relationship.”
Baumgartner and Connor were first romantically linked after they were photographed on a Hawaiian getaway in July last year. Then in January, a friend of Baumgartner’s told People that the pair had been seeing each other “since she split from Kevin.” As you might recall, Baumgartner filed for divorce from the Yellowstone actor in May 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They were married for 18 years and share three children.
While Baumgartner and Connor have kept a relatively low profile, People recently spotted the duo partaking in Christmasy things across New York. They held hands while walking around Rockefeller Center, moseyed around Greenwich Village, and attended an “intimate holiday party” in Brooklyn. Very Gossip Girl of them.
“They’re so in love,” the source added. “It’s been a very natural and positive step forward for Christine.”
