Rihanna has never been shy about her Lambily membership, citing Mariah Carey as an early inspiration on multiple talk shows throughout the years. And for the final date of Carey’s Christmas Time tour in Brooklyn Tuesday night, Rihanna released her inner fangirl. By that, I mean she got her biggest inspiration to sign her boob. A tale as old as time, no?
In a video graciously shared by Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee — who for some reason was third-wheeling with Rihanna and A$AP Rocky — Rihanna waved excitedly up at the stage. Carey quickly took notice and made her way down to say hello, walking backward down the steps to get there. Rihanna declared, “I need a signature,” asking for a Sharpie — and Carey, upon receiving one (and expressing concern about being filmed on her bad side), asked, “What do you want me to write?” When Rihanna requested a simple “Mariah,” Carey began to carefully trace a curly red M onto her fellow pop star’s upper breast.
“Wow, this is iconic,” Rihanna said in the video, before grabbing the microphone and announcing to the crowd with Christmas cheer, “Mariah Carey is signing my tit, y’all.” In the end, the two shared a warm, fluffy-jacketed embrace. This seems like a good omen for the holiday season, if you ask me.
