EPIC Games Store gives away free games every week, but things are ramping up for the holiday season.
While Epic offers PC gamers free games on a weekly basis, there will be a free game every day over the holiday season.
Starting on Thursday, December 19, 2024, PC players can grab a free mystery game every day until January 2.
There will be 16 games available as part of the holiday gaming giveaway, including the free game available from December 12 until December 19.
The giveaway also includes a final game that will be available for another week from January 2 until January 9.
Many of the games that are given away are usually smaller titles, but a few big names are expected in the mix.
The games given away on December 24, December 25, and in the final week of the campaign are usually big-name titles.
Death Stranding was given away in previous years, when it was still a hugely popular recent release.
The giveaway has started off with Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, a cosy take on Middle-earth.
It’s not a huge title to kick off the season, but we expect bigger releases down the line.
