As The Hotel Inspector, Alex travels up and down the country to give her verdict on each property featured in the series.
The straight-talking presenter is never afraid of telling viewers her real opinion.
The last series aired in March and featured hotels such as Chiltern View, Frasers, The Royal George, and the Loughborough Grange, aka LG Thai Derm Spa and Guest House.
During her visit to Thai Derm Spa and Guest House, she was disgusted at what she saw.
She told the owners Hasmeeta and Bharat were told how “dirty their hotel was.”
She said: “This hotel does not smell clean or fresh, you walk into the room and they smell of old socks.”
But under her instructions, the owners turned it around, saying: “We have direction, we can make this work, and we’re going to make this work going forward.”
The new series is expected to air in the Spring and the businesswoman has a formidable record of turning struggling hotels and B&Bs into successful enterprises.
