TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A very special memorial will be coming to the Capital Region in 2025. Crab Garrison Post 1954 in Troy has been selected to host the Wall That Heals.
The wall is a replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C. It's transported around the country. Officials said the memorial and mobile education center allows the community as well as veterans to experience the site without having to travel.
"The Wall That Heals ensures the solemn and reflective atmosphere of the wall in D.C.," Cheri Pierce Rigsbee, of Crab Garrison Post 1954, said.
The Wall That Heals will be in Troy from June 5-8. It's the only stop it is making in New York State in 2025.
