Mary Jane Veloso, who was on death row in Indonesia for 14 years, has finally returned to the Philippines.
Arrested and sentenced to death for drug trafficking in 2010, Veloso was brought home on Wednesday, December 18, following an agreement between the Philippines and Indonesia.
Her homecoming comes after years of diplomatic negotiations and a global campaign to #SaveMaryJane, backed by Filipinos worldwide.
