PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10)-- A Pittsfield man was sentenced after pleading guilty to charges from 2023. Tyrone Jones, 38, was sentenced to up to four years in prison.
On October 14, 2023, Jones reportedly became violent with a victim he shared his home with. On December 10, 2024, he admitted to assaulting the victim, kicking a dog in the home, destroying the inside of the house and then stealing the victim's car.
He pleaded guilty to five charges against him and was sentenced for each. Those charges and sentences were:
He was also charged with cocaine trafficking of 36 to 100 grams. But he was found not guilty of that charge in a jury trial.
Assistant District Attorney Amy Winston represented the Commonwealth. Pittsfield Police served as the lead law enforcement agency.
