Tottenham Hotspur are now keeping track of four different attackers across Europe as they look to bolster their forward line in January.
Spurs are short of quality options up front, with Wilson Odbert and Richarlison currently out with injuries while Mikey Moore is recovering from an illness.
Additionally, many of Tottenham’s attackers, including Timo Werner and captain Heung-min Son, have not been at their most consistent this season.
As a result, it has been widely reported that the Lilywhites are prioritising signing a wide-forward when the transfer window reopens next month.
GiveMeSport claim that Ange Postecoglou wants a versatile wide player who is comfortable operating on either flank.
The North London club are allegedly exploring moves for Club Brugge’s Andreas Skov Olsen, Midtjylland playmaker Dario Osorio and Lyon talisman Rayan Cherki at the moment.
Additionally, the outlet reveals that Tottenham have also been sending scouts to Spain over recent weeks to run the rule over Real Valladolid star Raul Moro, who is said to be ‘creeping onto Postecoglou’s radar’.
While there is no doubt that Tottenham need a winger who can take players on, Richarlison’s injury issues have also posed another problem for the club.
With Son struggling whenever he has led the line, the club might want to sign another suitable backup to Dominic Solanke.
The best solution might be to go for a versatile attacker like Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, who can lead the line if required and can also play on the wing.
