THIS clip captures the shocking moment a train ploughs into an oblivious tourist who is trying to take a selfie in Taiwan.
Watch as Liu Nu, 55, stands with her back to the oncoming train, apparently attempting to snap a pic with the locomotive.
The train blows its horn to warn the woman of its approach, but she is too engrossed in finding the perfect angle.
Liu was so close to the track that the sharp corner of the train slams into her right shoulder and she is knocked to the ground.
Onlookers can be heard screaming in horror and disbelief.
Meanwhile, the injured woman lies silently on the floor, unmoving and clearly in pain.
Fellow tourists rush to her side in order to help her, and she begins to move her legs at the end of the video.
Liu was bandaged up and taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
A medical examination found that she had suffered a broken left foot.
The train ground to an emergency stop after it hitting Liu, which led to an hour-long delay for the carriages and the passengers.
A total of 62 passengers were affected by the delays to the train that was travelling from Chiayi to Alishan, Taiwan on December 14.
It is thought that the group who had gathered around the track in order to take photos were on a trip organised by an agency called Dream International Travel Agency.
The Lin Tie Cultural and Capital Office responded to the shocking collision the following day.
They said that the travel agency co-ordinating the group had been handed a criminal record, and that it would be prevented from applying to enter the area of the railway track for a year.
The company was also slapped with a £5,000 fine.
An investigation is ongoing to determine whether there was any damage to the train or track.
The travel agency has apologised in the wake of the reputation-damaging blunder, and stated that the incident was caused by a passenger taking a selfie.
A representative claimed that an agency staff member had warned people to keep their distance from the train and said the company will strengthen its training to ensure people are kept safe in future.
This accident in Taiwan came days after a similar incident in Sri Lanka – also caught on camera.
A daft tourist fell from a train after dangling out of a carriage to try and get the perfect snap.
The young woman was holding onto the railings and leaning back when she was bashed in the head by some tree branches and ripped from the carriage.
The horrifying footage shows one of her arms flailing around in panic as she tumbles out of the train.
The man behind the camera can be heard shouting while helpless passengers look on in terror.
