The final tribal council is shaping up to a major grudge match.
CBS released the Survivor 47 finale trailer on Monday, just two days before the last episode. The 30-second promo video (watch above) features the seven jurors — Sierra Wright, Solomon “Sol” Yi, Gabe Ortis, Kyle Ostwald, Caroline Vidmar, Andy Rueda, and Genevieve Mushaluk — plus the top four castaways: Christine “Teeny” Chirichillo, Rachel LaMont, Sam Phalen, and Sue Smey.
“I want them to be sweating,” Sierra declares. As viewers may recall, she left the game shortly after the merge and suggested she’d be a bitter juror, telling the camera, “I do have a big job ahead of me being the first member of the jury and I’m gonna be a pretty freaking tough judge now.”
The only other juror that receives a quick a sound bite is fan-fave Andy, who observes, “This season is gonna come down to the wire.”
Host Jeff Probst opens the video by announcing, “It is a very big night for Survivor.” And he’s not exaggerating. This is the first time in the reality TV show’s 47 seasons that it’s splitting the finale into two parts. The first two-hour episode aired on Dec. 11, and the second two-hour episode is scheduled for Dec. 18.

“Take it in,” Probst continues while walking through tribal council. “[The jury] is what stands between you and a million dollars.”
As for the four finalists, only Sam and Rachel speak in the promo. Sam reveals that he’s “afraid of looking like an idiot,” while Rachel proudly proclaims, “I wouldn’t have come out here and played if I didn’t think I could win.”
Earlier this week, Gold Derby asked Survivor viewers to tell us who really deserves to take home the $1 million prize, and Rachel dominated our poll results with a whopping 70%. That’s more than double the amount of her fellow three finalists combined. Here are the numbers:
70% — Rachel
17% — Sam
7% — Teeny
6% — Sue
