Sophia Culpo is throwing some shade at her ex-boyfriend Braxton Berrios and she didn’t even say a word in the process.
The 29-year-old Miami Dolphins wide receiver is facing comparisons to country singer Zach Bryan, who has been called out for the way he handled his breakup with Brianna Chickenfry.
Sophia, 28, previously dated Braxton until winter 2023 and he soon after started dating social media star Alix Earle. The new couple denied that there was any overlap in the relationships.
Sophia said her sister Olivia Culpo called her in February 2023 to tell her that Braxton was cheating. She then confronted him.
“I just remember my stomach drops. I want to throw up … and then I call him and I go, ‘Was there anything you want to tell me?’ I never heard this tone in his voice, [and he said], ‘No,’” Sophia said on her sister Aurora Culpo‘s Barely Filtered podcast. “We had a long conversation and one of the last things I will never forget him saying to me was: ‘I wouldn’t go forward with that story because that’s not how I remember it.’”
In a new TikTok video posted in December 2024, Sophia threw some shade at Braxton.

Sophia posted a response to Stephanie Tleiji‘s video in which she said that “Braxton was technically Sophia Culpo’s Zach Bryan.”
Sophia then showed herself on camera as she took a sip from her wine glass, put sunglasses on her head, and toasted to the camera.
