Senior BJP leader Sudhir Mungantiwar was surprisingly excluded from the recent Maharashtra cabinet expansion despite reportedly being on the initial list. Although disappointed, Mungantiwar affirmed his commitment to the party and his constituency. Chief Minister Fadnavis hinted at a potential alternative role for the veteran leader.
