Shiv Sena MLA Narendra Bhondekar resigned from party posts after being excluded from the Maharashtra cabinet expansion. Bhondekar claimed Shinde had promised him a ministerial role. He sought the position to become Bhandara district's guardian minister, a role consistently held by outsiders. Disappointed, Bhondekar will now serve as an ordinary party worker.
